Darkfall has a release date


January 22nd for Euros. Looks like it won't be a simultaneous launch for NA. The announcement said NA players are welcome to join the EU launch.

I'm renaming this game (all in good fun) Darkfail.

Horizons 2 was also a candidate.

Having played Euro servers before in my time in WoW, let me warn anyone going on them. The communities suck. Even if you think you are joining an English Language server, the liklihood is you'll end up a minority if you only speak English. I was constantly in Instances and BGS where the entire dialog was either spoken in italian, russian or dutch. They would generally have little regard for those not speaking their language and Blizzard did little to police language policies, whether there was anything they could do however is debatable.

As for the game itself, I've not heard too much about it other than the name, I don't know the developer, I'm more than happy in warhammer for now, but if that changes and Darkfall is a hit perhaps I'll check it out but not on Euro servers.
