MC Raid: Saturday March 12
MC Raid: Saturday March 12
On March 12, Reunion will be working with several other guilds to coordinate a Molten Core Raid. This raid will be very selective and very tightly run. This is done to ensure success and a good time. I will be the leader of this raid, although it will be done as an alliance(for lack of a better term). I will list the other guilds coming shortly, as soon as I receive a 100% confirmation from them.
Please sign up here to reserve your spot. We will be choosing what we feel are the best members to fill a certain number of slots for this. Please start preparing as soon as possible, because it will really help us. The best way to find fire resistance gear is to go to http://www.thottbot.com and do a search for your type of armor. Hold down CTRL and select green/blue quality items and make the search for fire resist > 1.
Everyone should be working towards a set of fire resistance gear. This is ESSENTIAL if you want to make it as a melee, and helpful to ranged as well. Also, everyone should at least consider respeccing to better suit this raid.
IT IS ESSENTIAL THAT YOU CHECK OUT THE FOLLOWING WEBSITE. This site is a complete spoiler of the zone and really helps people get an idea of how we want to run this, particularly if it's your first time. The link is for an alliance guild, but it's not hard to use your imagination and change it for horde.

Warriors- Protection really helps. Talk to me before gimping yourself, because it probably isn't worth it if you're the 4th or 5th warrior on the raid.
Priests- Holy spec really helps. It would be very nice if priests could invest at least some points in holy.
Shamans- Restoration is very important. You will be relied on heavily for fire resist totems and heals.
Mages- Arcane or Ice are required. Your fire spells will not land on over 90% of the mobs. Ice is slightly preferred from my talks with mages, but arcane will work as well. We are actively recruiting mages for this raid.
Druids- Restoration spec really helps.
Rogues- You are hitting mobs from behind, but no real preference here.
Hunters- Ranged DPS is very nice here. Also, you will be an important aspect for helping with pulling bosses.
Warlocks- I've heard affliction spec isn't a good choice for here, but honestly don't know too much more.
Please post your name, class and level below. Also, if you could indicate how you are spec'd and what type of fire resistance gear you have, that would be nice.
Here's mine:
Errelno-60 Warrior. I'll be respeccing to 5 fury 11 arms and 35 protection. My fire resistance can currently reach around 70 with my gear, although it should be over 100 by next week.
Please feel free to contact with me (Errelno) in game with regards to this raid. If I'm not online, you can try to message Zeem, who is my RL brother.

Re:
A number of people said they were having trouble accessing the boards.
As far as mages go, Erie, Daemun, and Darquan all said they wanted to join the raid but couldn't get onto boards.
Also, I have Lillholmen-a 60 priest who will be joining us.
Any last minute addons?
